On Wednesday we drove to Palmyra and were able to visit the Smith Farm. We were able to see where the Angel Moroni appeared to Joseph Smith. The highlight of the day for most of us was probably the Sacred Grove. We walked in as a group and sang one of our fireside songs called "Pillar of Light". We all then walked through the grove on our own and were able to have such a peaceful experience.
Afterwards, we drove to the town of Palmyra and visited The Book of Mormon publication site where we were able to see the printing process for the first Book of Mormons. We then drove and walked up to Hill Cumorah (which was a very steep little hike) where Michael told us about the Pageant that happens every summer. At the bottom of the hill we had a special group testimony meeting.
We then drove to Pittsford where we had a fireside and show right after. We had a great day and enjoyed performing for and meeting the members in Pittsford.
