This word just in - Lluvia is planning on making Iroquois Frybread for the upcoming UVU Pow Wow!
Here's a description:
Iroquois frybread is similiar to other frybread, just not as huge. It's about 4 inches across and a little thicker than the usual Navajo frybread. You cut it in half and put seasoned mashed pinto beans and bacon inside. Some people like to put mustard and fresh onions on it for additional flavor. We will have mustard available but no onions!!
Come and try an Iroquois frybread and have a new and unique cultural experience. Available only at the upcoming Pow Wow at Utah Valley University! Look for them at the ROC Trading Post in the vendors area!
