ROC was asked to perform their Samoan Section on Friday evening and the Iroquois Smoke Dance on Saturday evening at this year's UVU Pow Wow. In addition ROC had a vending table and a food table to raise money. Here are a few pics!
L to R: Claryssa, Celina, Joann, Vic and Emmanuel watch over the Iroquois Frybread Sandwiches and cookies that were sold at the food table. Both were a hit! Everything sold out on Friday. There were only a few sandwiches left on Saturday which were shared with the ROC students. Everyone that tried an Iroquois sandwish had a new cultural experience.
Amy and Landric, Jess and Ida had vending tables as well. The ROC table is the thrid one down the line! ROC sold more food than cultural items. In this pic is (R to L) Landric, Elizabeth and Eva.
